Available all year round, the host family is a great way to learn about French culture and practice your French. Students who stay with a host family will have a single room and can have breakfast or both breakfast and dinner included.
Host family accommodations begin on Sunday and end the Saturday that the student’s program completes. Paris host families are generally located about 15-40 minutes by public transportation away from the school. Nice host families are typically located about a 5-30 minute commute. The distance between the host family and the school for each student will depend on which host families are available at the time of the student's registration.

Residence

The residence provides more privacy to the student who would prefer to be on his/her own rather than in a family dynamic. The residence is similar to that of a dormitory where the building houses primarily other students. Paris residences tend to be about a 40-45 minute commute by public transportation. Nice residences tend to be about a 10-30 minute commute.

This option is for the traveler who wishes to have the privacy of an apartment with the amenities of a hotel. The Apart'Hotels in Paris are located about 5-35 minutes by public transportation.
