Spain’s third largest city, Valencia offers a warm and lively atmosphere with a history dating back over two thousand years.
Valencia has a great nightlife, museums, a multitude of divers shops, and a charming town center
that offers visitors an array of things to see and enjoy.
Despite all it has to offer, Valencia is not as touristy as
many of the other cities within Spain. Though this may be surprising considering that the city offers a beach, gardens to take a stroll through,
a zoological park to visit as well as numerous other activities that both tourists and non tourists alike will enjoy, this
is what makes Valencia such a perfect place to learn Spanish.
The province of Valencia is famous for its discotheques, where the music plays until dawn. They are situated on the outskirts
of the city and on the Valencia - Cullera road, crossing numerous residential estates and beaches. A lot of bars and clubs
are situated in 'Calle Juan Llorens'. Friday's and Saturday's are naturally the busiest days, with many people out. The atmosphere
is always lively and usually rather hot too!
By day, Valencia offers other sites of intererest such as the Museo de Bellas Artes. This museum is located in the beautiful
Jardines del Real, and offers artwork by Goya, El Greco, and Velazquez.
