Accommodation in a shared apartment:
Students
can share a flat either with other students from the school, with other Italian students, or with the owner of the flat. Flats
include all the basic necessities such as furniture, (bed, table, chair, wardrobe). Kitchen, and bathroom. Bedroom is private
but all other rooms such as the living room, kitchen, bathroom, etc are shared.
In the fully equipped kitchen you can prepare your meals separately or together with your flatmates and fellow
students. Normally there is no telephone in the apartment. Scuola Leonardo Da Vinci can provide you with cell phone rental
services. You and your fellow-lodgers are expected to keep your apartment clean, although every two weeks an employee will
clean the common areas. Be aware that if you book apartment accommodation, you will most likely have to eat out the first
evening as all supermarkets are closed on Sundays.
Accommodations in the host family:
Living with a host family offers the opportunity to integrate into the Italian society. Nowhere
else will you so directly experience real Italian life. The word 'family' should not be taken too literally, because a family
could also be a single parent or a childless couple who take in students because they enjoy the company. You can choose between
a room with breakfast or half-board (breakfast and dinner). Students in home-stays will be able to receive phone calls.
Accommodations in a private apartment
Private apartments are more comfortable
than shared apartments and therefore more expensive. They are available for one or more persons. Prices are available upon
request. Please note that the private apartments must be reserved well in advance and the prices may vary depending on the
city and season.
