Location:
The
La Paz campus is 1 block from the Bay of La Paz and 6 blocks from the city square. It is within
walking distance of museums and other very popular attractions.
School Size: There are 4 classrooms with a maximum capacity of 20 sudents.
Class size: There are never more than 5 students in one class.
Minimum Age: 18
Start dates: Classes begin on any Monday of the year unless it falls on a holiday.
Holidays: Classes will not be made up on the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and
New Year's Day.
Duration: Classes run in weekly increments. They run from Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 10:30 am with a 30-minute
break and then continue for another 2 hours.
Content: The focus of the classes are to study grammar and vocabulary in a conversational setting. This means
that lessons are taught by communicating about various subjects of interest while learning new vocabulary and concepts about
grammar.
Books: Books are written by the school in order to correspond to the school's specially planned curriculum.
School Features: This large and elegant campus includes a swimming pool, patios, porches, views of the Bay, and a library.
College Credit: College credit may be available. Students seeking academic credit need to contact an advisor at their
school to find out if their university would be willing to provide academic credit for studying at a language school in La
Paz, Mexico. If the advisor should need more information about the curriculum, please have them contact us.
Excursions/Activities: The school offers weekly cultural presentations, lessons about art, dance, and guitar.
Excursions are arranged based on student requests and consensus. Students that would like to take an excursion that is apart
from group excursions, can have their personal excursions organized by the school.
Additional programs: The school currently offers a Medical Program where students can study Spanish with an emphasis on Medical terminology and include visits to local clinics.
In Guadalajara, the school are also offering a Legal program, where students can study Spanish with an emphasis
on legal terminology.
Accommodations: Students can stay with a host family in a private room. Host families stays include 2 meals per
day and laundry service. They are located within walking distance or at most a short bus ride from both the school and the
beach.
Day Care: Students with children are responsible to arrange day care for their children while they are in class. Host
families nor the school are responsible for daycare services.
